Joseph Choma is currently on exhibit at the Pratt Institute for the ACADIA 2010 conference, LIFE in:formation. As a part of the conference Joseph also spoke on a panel discussion on October 23rd at The Cooper Union. His work is published within the conference catalog.
architectuREdefined is the blog of Joseph Choma, a computation based researcher focused on new emerging architectural consequences, by means of morphological design machines.
Joseph graduated with a Bachelor of Architecture from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a Master of Science in Architectural Studies with a Concentration in Design and Computation from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He has previously worked for Acconci Studio, Carlos Zapata Studio, Gage Clemenceau Architects, Grimshaw's Experimental Media and Performing Arts Center, and Ted Krueger. Joseph is currently an Assistant Professor at Southern Polytechnic State University, and has previously taught as an Adjunct Professor at the Boston Architectural College. Joseph is the Founder of Design Topology Lab -the first practice dedicated to the ontology of space defined by mathematics.
